Bible Verses Supporting the Flat Earth
The following are Biblical verses that deal with the shape and status of the earth on which we all live, and here is the Scriptural basis for those who agree that the Bible should be taken literally. (* indicates our comment) Job 38:18 "Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all."
Isaiah 44:24 "Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;"
Revelation 1:7 "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him,..." (*this is impossible on a globe)
Psalm 93:1: “Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm ...”
Psalm 96:10: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable ...”
Psalm 104:5: “Thou didst fix the earth on its foundation so that it never can be shaken.”
Isaiah 45:18: “...who made the earth and fashioned it, and himself fixed it fast
Joshua 10:12-13 Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher (Jasher 88:63-64)? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. (*the sun and moon were commanded to stand still, not the earth)
Hab 3:11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation:

Mat 4:8 the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them (*impossible on a ball)
Isa 40:22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in (*circle, not sphere, globe or ball)
Ps 136:6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters:

Job 26: 7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. (* It is not hanging on anything, it is stable, immovable, set on foundations supported by pillars)
Job 26:10 He hath compassed the waters with bounds(*Antarctic ice wall), until the day and night come to an end

Genesis 1:6-9 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
A flat earth, with a domed firmament, set on a foundation with pillars.
